And she is only 20! So you do a double take when Sunidhi Chauhan says, "I have no regrets in life." She, of course, quickly elaborates, "Whatever I have today is God''s gift.

All I have to do use my talent to the fullest."<br /><br />In Pune for a Navratri performance, the Leoborn singer''s eyes are still soft and vulnerable.<br /><br />"I know I have lost a great deal of growing up and I miss going out as a normal girl, but then I never have had any real friends," she states matter-of-factly.<br /><br />Winning <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Meri Awaaz Suno</span> changed the course of her life,which was further altered when she chose to marry Bobby Khan.<br /><br />"We are not together anymore. We have separated. Things didn''t work out. Marriage was fun while it lasted. There will be no more talk about getting hooked again in my life. I will let life take its own course. Till then, I am happy being single," she says.<br /><br />It''s this bindaas attitude that has endeared Sunidhi''s fans to her, irrespective of the goingons in her personal life. "Being in the limelight makes you mature faster. I don''t care what the world thinks of me. If I want to shout and dance I will, and I want to make every one with me laugh," she gushes.<br /><br />The one thing that has never deserted her is her confidence in her voice. "I sung my first song for the film <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Shastra</span> when I was 11. Until now I have sung only item numbers. It was Anu Malik who gave me this opportunity to sing for the film <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Ajnabee </span>and now I like it when my fans call me a versatile singer," she says.<br /><br />Sunidhi is not one of the glam-set who sports a mask of happiness. "It''s lonely in the industry. And it''s not like i come home to a packed house either. I try to find solace in listening to music. I switch on some jazz and blues, which helps me relax," she pouts. <br /><br />Then there''s her penchant for shopping for clothes and shoes that always helps in busting stress.
